Here’s a fun little video I edited for Boost Mobile a little while ago. It stars UFC Mixed Martial Arts champion and actor Quinton Rampage Jackson. Rampage Jackson also played B.A. Baracus on the feature film “The A-Team”
The “Boost Mobile Bullshit Detection Center” pays homage to vintage A-Team and Get Smart.

I got a facebook request last week from my old friends the Sniper Twins and wanted to share their near-genius creative spirit with you.
The Sniper Twins are Barry Flanagan and Dax Martinez-Vargas. In addition to film making, the two create music and perform. They are represented for commercials in Europe by Independent Films UK.
The team worked as directors/creatives for 5+ years in MTV’s On-Air Promotions department until February 2011. The duo have accumulated several awards and honors for their work listed in the credits below. Their Sniper Twins music videos ‘Salad Wrap’, ‘Computer Friends’, and ‘Chocolate Shoppe,’ have garnered a great deal of attention online led by ‘Computer Friends’.
In addition to commercials and music videos, Sniper Twins have always had a passion for longer form content. The two wrote and directed a 2-hour sketch video show in 2005 called ‘Nothing Liquid’ which premiered at the Alamo Drafthouse Theater in Austin TX. The duo is actively developing several film and television projects.
I hope to do a follow up with them sometime soon, so look out for it.
In the meantime, check out their website: http://www.snipertwins.com/ and be sure to ‘like’ them on facebook: http://www.facebook.com/SniperTwins

Erik recently teamed up with writer/director Vinny Lopez and co-writer Mark Smith to cut a series of promos for VH1′s upcoming Do Something Awards. The spots feature this years host and everyone’s favorite actress/comedian-turned–self-proclaimed humanitarian……. Jane Lynch!
Through various monologues Jane gives us deep insights into her personal ‘philosophies,’ dendrophiliac tendencies, and questionable philanthropic practices. We also get the privilege of witnessing these techniques in action at her “Car Wash for Literacy”, where 10 bucks gets you a wash, a wax, and a front row view of some “Bikini-clad hard-bodies”….. not a bad deal.

The ‘Creativity Awards’. I know the magazine, but I have to admit it’s the first time I’ve heard of the awards. But heck, I don’t care, these guys gave me platinum for the MTV Video Music Awards promo I cut last year, entitled ‘VMA Side Story’. A rip-off of (hahum … inspired by…) the West Side Story. Big props to Seyi, the gentle giant of a director for such an amazing job. Erik, our in house boy genius also pulled off a silver for his MTV effort, America’s Best Dance Crew ‘Worship’. Congrats Evan Silver!
